“The Indigenous World 2016” yearbook launch

IWGIA (International Working Group for Indigenous Affairs) have published “The Indigenous World 2016” yearbook, which was officially launched in New York on 17^th May in relation to the 15^th session of the United Nations Permanent Forum on Indigenous Issues.

The yearbook offers a global update on the contemporary situation of the indigenous peoples and their human rights and gives an overview of the main developments that have affected indigenous peoples during 2015.
